Rabbi Darío Feiguin was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began the Rabbinical Seminary in Buenos Aires during his last year of High School. He was admitted at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he graduated with a B.A. in Jewish Thought and Education with a specialization in Counseling. He obtained a full scholarship to study for his M.A. in Jewish Thought specialized in Modern Jewish Philosophy. He graduated with honors in June 1983. A few months later, Darío Feiguin was ordained Rabbi and received his Semijá from Marshall T. Meyer Z "L at the Seminario Rabinico Latinoamericano in Buenos Aires.
In Argentina, Rabbi Feiguin served as rabbi at the Bet-El Community and Tarbut Community. In March 1993, together with his wife Yudi and 9 other families, Rabbi Feiguin founded the Amijai Community.
In 2015, Rabbi Feiguin and Yudi left Buenos Aires to lead B'nei Israel Community in Costa Rica. Today, he represents the progressive philosophy and ideology of B'nei Israel. The community enjoys his inspiring sermons, his liberal teachings and the beautiful music he has brought to our services.
