Marcelo Schapochnik, executive director of Keren Kayemet LeIsrael (KKL-Brasil) visited the Associação Israelita do Norte do Paraná (AINP) in February and engaged the community members as well as the city of Parana.
Amidst an intense agenda, Marcelo met 250 students from Maringá Adventist College, exchanging ideas and teaching about the environment. He also spoke at public colleges and other local entities. He also visited the Community Garden Project in Maringá that produces much more than its initial goal and was interviewed by the local CBN Radio about “Sustainability and the Environment”.
The support and recognition of international organizations to UJR-AmLat affiliated communities encourages the community to strengthen ties with the State of Israel and actively participate in world Jewish life.
