OPEN LETTER
To Mr Binyamin Netanyahu MK
The Union for Reform Judaism in Latin America, in the name of its 25 affiliated synagogues and schools who jointly congregate over fifty thousand Zionist Jews from all Latin America, deplores the declarations by recently elected Chaver Kneset Itamar Ben-Gvir, in respect to the validity of liberal Judaism.
We reaffirm the extreme relevance that all the different Jewish practices of our people be recognised by the State of Israel and that our congregants recognise themselves in the State, whom they support unconditionally since its establishment.
We trust the new government under formation will not take any measure that may put in risk the unity of Klal Israel.
