Netzer Olami gains a new, all-female leadership with a Brazilian representative

Netzer Olami is the Zionist youth movement of Progressive Jews throughout the World. It is the youth movement of the World Union for Progressive Judaism and of Arzenu, the Zionist arm of the worldwide Reform movement. Throughout its various sniffim, Netzer runs weekly meetings, summer and winter camps, residential Shabbatot, hadracha (leadership) training events, activism days, study events and seminars.

In recent weeks, members of the movement have voted for their new world Hanagah. Entirely made up of women, the hanagah counts on the presence of Beatriz Rubinsztain from Brazil, from Avanhandava, the youth movement from Congregação Israelita Paulista (CIP), linked to Netzer. Joining her are Naomi Tamir from Germany and Vicky Richards from Australia.

Beatriz says: “Shalom chaverim! I’m Beatriz, from Avanhandava, Brazil, and I’m happy to be Netzer Olami’s new Mazkira and to bring South America even closer to other snifim! I’m so excited to work with all of you and create amazing projects together.”

UJR-AmLat congratulates Netzer’s new leadership, especially for the presence of one of our young leaders. We wish success and a cycle of many achievements for progressive youth around the world!
