Flavio Levi Moreira was named the new President of UJR-AmLat during a ceremony that began with a mincha service led by Rabbi Ruben Sternschein and Chazan Ale Edelstein, followed by the lighting of Chanukiot to celebrate the 6th night of Chanukah.
Flavio has spent the last 20 years involved in Brazil’s Startups and Venture Capital scene as an entrepreneur and investor. He combined his impressive business career with years of volunteer work as well, serving as treasurer, vice president and board member of Congregação Israelita Paulista (CIP) and treasurer of UJR-AmLat for more than a decade.
The UJR-AmLat team wishes Kol haKavod and Mazal tov to Flavio on his appointment and B’Hatzlachah in bringing his ingenuity and passion to his new position serving the region.
