Youth – Argentina July 2021

Youth (non-formal education):

Peulot for all ages.

A non-formal education structure, where we learn by playing and sharing with friends. Led by a General Coordinator and a Madrichim Tzevet, every Saturday from 3:30 pm for kids from 2 to 17 years old.

In the same framework, we have a group that runs the Madrichim School.

Shabateinu

A space for families with children from kindergarten and elementary school, where music, Shabbat and many surprises are shared every Friday with a madrichah and a shirah moreh. It is done in person at the institution.

Judaica Kids

A space for boys and girls from 5 to 11 years old where they can learn about our history and traditions through games and art.

Once a week in person

Tikun Olam in ACTION:

All grades at the school go through the experience of performing, organizing, leading the school and communicating solidary action.

Within this great program, each series will have its own particular project:

– Collection of toys for children’s day

– Blood donation campaign

– Sales collaboration, challah kneading every Friday

– Etc.

These are some of the actions that are being carried out:

– Food donation: At Arlene Fern we decided to deliver the food we do not eat for lunch to those who need it most.

In addition, we know that a positive message or wish can make the recipient happy. Therefore, students throughout elementary school make cards to distribute with food.

A beautiful way to make the mitzvah of Tzedakah a habit, transmitting love even in difficult times.

– Blood Donation Campaign: As part of the blood donation campaign, which will take place a month before Rosh Hashanah, and will be held with Garrahan Children’s Hospital, a meeting will be held between the Hospital staff and our 7th grade students.

The 7th grade students will meet and learn about the importance of having a blood bank and will be the protagonists of the campaign at the school.
